In the coworking space available for PhD students (Building 8 at AzurƩm campus), there is a printer self-service at your disposal. To access that, the first step is request access to the printer, sending a email to [email protected] identifying yourself (Name, supervisor, etc).
After validation you will receive the response with a āusernameā and āpin codeā to authenticate. At this point you can now go to printer, select your username from the printer screen, put your pin code, make copies, do scans, and print files from one USB Drive.
The request for access to the VPN connection must be made by email to [email protected], with prior authorization from your supervisor. For more information about the use of VPN service within UMinho, see SCOM - Universidade do Minho (uminho.pt).
Microsoft Office 365 is available to the academic community. All professors, technical staff and students who have their situation regularized at the University of Minho are eligible to use these products. The username and password are the same as those used to access the UM e-mail and internal systems (for example, your mechanographic or student number).
